Barb Musser from Michigan did a wonderful job on her FIRST baby sweater! She knitted pattern #982, the Baby Neck Down Cardigan for her great niece using TLC Cotton Plus and gave it to her at her baptism.
Kate Skeen down the hill in Carson City knit pattern #981 with some vintage cornflower blue yarn from her own stash and accented it with some vintage wooden buttons.
Ben's blue hat to match his blue eyes! Barbara Clark of Reno, NV did a beautiful job knitting pattern #253, the Hat and Mitten Set for Children.

Renie's youngest granddaughter, Isabella, in pattern #266, Little Girl's Sundress/Jumper knitted with Kraemer Tatami Tweed cotton acrylic blend yarn.
Holly B. knitted pattern #9725 Neck Down Cardigan and added a zipper instead of buttons. Holly says, "I really enjoyed making it, and the directions were straight forward and easy to follow."
Sandra from Michigan knitted pattern #201 Neck Down Jacket for women and modified it for her son before I came out with the similar men's pattern #264 Men's Cardigan. She used Classic Elite Follies (an alpaca, wool, rayon blend) and added a kangaroo style pocket in the front.
Sandra also knitted the Hooded Tunic for Women pattern #244. As it turned out, she ran out of yarn before she could make the hood, so she knitted a collar instead and found that it fit her son better. Yarn used was a heavy worsted superwash wool, Stahl Granda. The Men's Henley Pattern #255 is a good equivalent to this style.
Kaija appears to be counting the ways she loves her new sweater! Natasha Versluys of Lowell Michigan knit her cousin's daughter, Kaija, the Baby Tunic pattern #211 in Meunch Tessin yarn.
Katy knit pattern #993 out of a silk blend yarn from my yarn stash. The Neck Down V Neck T Shirt is perfect for Katy's nights in Mexico City.

Renee O'Leary from Virginia did such a wonderful job on her first sweater using pattern #9724 and picked the perfect yarn for sock pattern #216 to go with it. She used Cascade 220, color 4002 for the Neck Down Pullover and Online Linie 3 Highland Color 844 for the Beginner's Lightweight Socks. Renee calls my patterns "brilliant," but you decide!
