Here is fabulous Soren again ( see Gallery page 5) wearing pattern #232, Children's Tunic in a wool yarn knit by his mom, Kim Mathiesen. She added a kangaroo pouch on the front for all his little cars, rocks, sticks and anything else a two year old boy can get into a pocket!
Kim Kaplan's mom made her son, Jaxon, pattern #214 with Lorna's Laces Shepherd Worsted in Denim. The sweater is the 18 month size and grandma has altered it a couple of times, lengthening both the sleeves and body.
Erika Gouin creatively knit #982 Baby Neckdown Cardigan using Myra Hansen-Garcia's hand dyed DK merino and various novelty yarn.
This is Andrew, Judi Brody's grandson in the Baby Neckdown Pullover pattern #214 knit with different types of yarn. The blue sweater (1) is Encore washable worsted, the second (2) is an imported yarn, and the blue and gold (3) was also Encore washable wool. The blue one was her first sweater! Judi's signature tag on the inside reads "Knit With Grandma's Love."
Kristin Dreyer Kramer of Columbus, Ohio says that since she is tall, with long arms the top-down is the way to go for her -- she can try it on to see if she needs to add extra length to the sleeves or the body. Kristin did a beautiful job knitting pattern #241 using Plymouth Stone Cotton.
Isabelle of Orchard Beach Maine knitted two of my free website patterns very creatively! She used Bernat Baby Coordinates for the Easy Baby Cardigan (above), adding a few embroidery, a tassel at the top of the hood and replacing the cords with buttons. She also knitted a Valentine version of the Moonlight slippersock (right).
Tera Nelson wanted to share this moment when her son, Gage, born April 3rd, 2007, modeled his new sweater. He seems a little emotional about it, but I am sure he loves it Tera! She used Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Worsted to knit pattern #214.
This is pattern #982 the Babies Neck Down Cardigan that Vicky Medley knit with Cascade 220 Quarto, colors called Tahiti (the turquoise, #9434) and Crème Brule (the orange, #5011). Vicky did a great job and chose a beautiful color combo! Lilly is her model, but the sweater went to a friend's baby to come.
Lindsey Breeden of Virginia knit pattern #214 for her daughter, Hannah when she was an infant and most recently knit pattern #9730 the Children's Neck Down Pullover for her. She used Blue Sky Cotton yarn for the recent project. Great job Lindsey!

This is Bethany beautifully modeling the Easy Lace Poncho pattern 251. Her mom, Jackie Yeo, used 4 balls of Valley Yarns "Deerfield" 80% alpaca 20% silk. Jackie said, "It took about a week to knit, and feels very drapey and soft." What an amazing job she did!
Mokihana knitted the Pullover for Men #991 for her husband and he looks great in it! She did such a great job on her FIRST sweater!
